Appointments
The practice offers a variety of appointments in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. We offer appointments from 08:30 in the morning, early mornings and late evenings. A proportion of our appointments are available to book 1 week in advance, the remainder are telephone consultations.
We hope that this way of working provides the choices for our patients. We will always endeavour to offer patients an appointment with the clinician of their choice but this may not be always possible.
Appointments may be booked either by:-
- Telephone – Our appointment lines are open from 08:15 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:30
- Internet – via the link at the top of this page
- In person – By coming into reception between 08:15 to 12:00 and 13.30 to 17:30
Length of Appointment
Please note all appointments are for 10 minutes. If you require more time with the doctor, or if you have more than one problem to discuss, please inform the receptionist when booking the appointment. The emergency appointments are for 5 minutes only.
Cancellation
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. We have now introduced text reminder service. The service enables you to cancel your appointment by replying “cancel” to the text. Please ensure we have your correct mobile number on our records. You can also cancel your appointment by selecting option 3 when calling Manor Park Medical Centre.
Text Reminders

The Duty Doctor will then telephone you back. When the Duty Doctor speaks to you they will either give you the advice you need on the telephone or give you an appointment the same day. If you have given a mobile number, please ensure that it is switched on.
