Our Primary Health Care team continues to grow with GPs working alongside Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Clinical Pharmacists to provide evolving healthcare and medical service to meet the varying needs of our patients and, in turn, provide what we believe is a sustainable model of modern General Practice.

PCN Administrator

Role: CSN PCN Administrator

Part time/ flexible working 15 hours per week

Salary: Competitive/ Inclusion to the NHS pension scheme.

Closing Date: 30th April 2024

Location: The post holder will be based at one PCN practice, however, will be required to work at any other 5 sites in Slough as per CSN PCN membership at any time throughout the duration of the contract.

The Primary Care Network (PCN) Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting PCN Leadership team and the overall coordination and administration of primary care services within the network. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. The PCN Administrator contributes to the efficient operation of the network by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and supporting the implementation of healthcare initiatives.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking individual with a “can-do” attitude who will deliver quality services with compassion. As 98% of our registered patients are BAME we require bi-lingual staff ; you must be able to speak one of these South Asian Languages ; Urdu , Punjabi, Hindi, You must have a dedication to best practice and a passion for improving health outcomes. Upon commencement of employment, you will receive full training inclusive of e-learning and personal mentoring.

 

Job Summary 

Manor Park  Medical Centre is seeking a Salaried GP to join our caring, hard working and friendly team.

The position offers the opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive environment as part of large MDT that will support your ongoing professional development.

Main Duties of the Job 
We would welcome applicants looking for a full time or part time position at our practice consisting of the following:

  • Routine clinical sessions including telephone and face to face appointments
  • Duty GP sessions
  • Minimal home visits
  • Minimal administrative work
  • Weekly clinical meeting for professional development
  • Opportunity to develop areas of interest

Job Responsibilities 

  • To provide full range of NHS General Medical Service to all patients registered at Manor Park  Medical Centre.
  • Telephone, face to face and electronic consultations.
  • Provide support to colleagues and assist with learning.
  • Attend practice meetings as required.
  • Compliance with practice policies
  • Significant Event reporting
  • Effectively manage own time and resources.
